Pflasterspektakel presents the variety of street performance art: comedy and clownery, juggling, puppet theatre, acrobatics, fire and aerial artistic, dance and all kind of music. Let yourself be amazed by outstanding performances from artists all over the world and local talents.

More than 100 companies and performers transform the city centre of Linz into a vibrant stage of artistic diversity. Special programs such as the revue show at the circus tent or the musically nightline complete the street shows which start every hour on the hour at 40 performance locations. Around 800 performances take place over the three days of the festival.

The artists at the Pflasterspektakel do not receive any fees, but play for the audience’s hat money!

Daily Program

The artists choose their performance times and locations anew each day during the festival. The daily program is published online around midday each festival day and, from the start of the festival, is also available in printed form at the information points.

Program booklet (german only)

The program booklet, which provides an overview of all participating artists, information about the festival, and the program sections, will be available in June. You can have the program booklet sent to you by post. It will also be available at cultural institutions in Linz as well as at the festival’s information points.
